Fountain Valley: The November Surprise for Measure HH

The Fountain Valley establishment were rattled this week when their effort to pass Measure HH, a 1% sales tax increase, was challenged. City Hall officials and their chamber of commerce friends did not expect the anti-tax side to put up much opposition other than a few homemade looking banners.

The “No on HH” team, working with the Atlas PAC, managed to drop this 9 x 12 postcard nine days before the election to all likely voters in Fountain Valley.

I had a good laugh scanning the “Tax’em Valley” headline.

Assemblyman Travis Allen, according to those involved, was instrumental in bringing all the necessary players together to produce this mailer.
